Have You Submitted an Information Request? Tell us!
Nazaha aims to support concerned citizens to exercise their right to access information. When you submit a request for information, it is important that you get in touch with us to tell us about it so that we can monitor whether officials are providing the information required of them by law.
At present, Nazaha is concerned that too many citizens’ requests for information are being rejected. By collecting details of all the requests made, and through checking back with you to find out if you received the information you requested, Nazaha aims to build up a picture of the extent to which our right to access information is truly being granted.
This evidence is vital to help us campaign for improvements to the law and to demand that officials and government departments are held to account.
